  • Cinnamon/Sugar mixture:
  • 1 c. butter, softened
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 c. buttermilk
  • 4 c. flour
  • 2 tsp. baking soda
  • 2/3 c. sugar
  • 2 tsp. cinnamon

Preparation

Step 1

Heat oven to 350º. Cream together butter, 2 c. sugar & eggs. Add milk, flour & baking soda. Put 1/2 of batter into greased loaf pans (1/4 in each pan). Mix in separate bowl the 2/3 c. sugar & cinnamon. Sprinkle 3/4 of cinnamon mixture on top of the 1/2 batter in each pan. Add remaining batter to pans; sprinkle last of cinnamon mixture over top. Swirl with a knife. Bake 45-50 minutes or til tests done. Cool in pan 20 minutes before removing from pans.
