Ingredients
- 1 Cup Sugar
- 1/3 Cup Water
- 1/4 tsp Cream of Tartar
- 2 unbeaten Egg Whites
- 1 tsp Vanilla
Preparation
Step 1
Combine sugar, water and cream of tartar in a saucepan and boil till sugar is dissolved.
Very slowly add to unbeaten egg whites, in mixing bowl until stiff peaks form.
Beat in vanilla. Frosts top and sides of two 8" and 9" layers or 10 tube cake, or 9x13.
