Chocolate-covered Oreo Cookie Cake

Ingredients

• 1 pkg devil's food cake mix
• 4 oz Baker's semi-sweet chocolate
• 1/4 c butter
• 1 pkg cream cheese, softened
• 1/2 c sugar
• 2 c cool whip, thawed
• 12 Oreo coarsely crushed

Preparation

Step 1

Heat oven to 350
Prepare cake batter as directed in 2 round pans
Microwave chocolate & butter for 2 mins. Stir until chocolate fully melted. Cool 5 mins.
Beat cream cheese & sugar until well blended. Gently stir in cool whip and crushed cookies.
Stack cake layer, spread cream cheese mixture, cake then top w/choclate glaze
