  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp karo syrup



Step 1

In nonstick pan, over med heat bring to boil,
brown sugar, white sugar, cream, karo syrup and
butter, stirring
constantly till it thickens 10 to 12 min., test to
soft ball in water. Remove and add 1 cup chopped
pecans and 1/2 tsp vanilla and stir till cool.
Drop by tablespoons on wax paper.

Praline Sauce: 2 tbsp butter, 1/2 cup brown sugar
and 1/4 cup pecans. Cook till sugar is dissolved
and add pecans and spoon over desserts.
