Bourbon-Pecan Creme Brulee

Ingredients

  • 9 large egg yolks
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 3 tablespoons bourbon
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 1/2 cups whipping cream
  • 6 tablespoons golden brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup coarsely chopped toasted pecans

Preparation

Step 1

Toast the pecans with maple syrup first!

Mix all ingredients except sugar and pecans. Bake 300 for 1 hour in water bath. Top with brown sugar and brulee. Sprinkle pecans after, then serve.
