Ingredients
- Pizza:
- 1 lb ground chuck
- 2 Tbsp ketchup
- 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1-1/2 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
- Easy Pizza Sauce
- 2 pizza crusts
- 3 (8 oz) pkgs shredded Colby-Jack cheese, divided
- 1 lb bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 3 plum tomatoes, thinly sliced
- 1 c chopped dill pickles
- 1/2 c thinly sliced onion
- Easy Pizza Sauce:
- 2 Tbsp butter
- 1/2 c chopped onion
- 1 (28 oz) can crushed tomatoes
- 1 Tbsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper
Preparation
Step 1
Pizza:
In a large skillet, cook ground chuck over medium heat until browned and crumbly; drain. Stir in ketchup and next 5 ingredients.
Top each pizza crust with desired amount of Easy Pizza Sauce, 2 cups cheese, beef mixture, bacon, and remaining 3 ingredients.
Sprinkle with remaining 2 cups of cheese.
Bake pizzas according to package directions. Serve immediately.
Easy Pizza Sauce:
In a medium saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add onion, and cook for 5 minutes or until tender. Stir in tomatoes and all remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer for 20 minutes.
Cover and refrigerate for up to 3 days.
