Ingredients
- 8 medium potatoes, peeled and quartered (5#)
- 8 oz cream cheese
- 8 oz sour cream
- 1/4 lb butter
- garlic salt
- grated cheddar cheese

Preparation
Step 1
cook potatoes (without salt) until tender, mash, add cream cheese, sour cream and butter, flavor with garlic salt.
put into buttered casserole dish, grate a little cheese on top, bake 1 hour at 350.
This may be prepared ahead of time and refrigerate overnight.
Serves 8
When doubling recipe, do not double sour cream.
