Ingredients
- 6 medium Granny Smith apples, peeled, cored and thinly sliced
- 3/4 cup dried cranberries or dried cherries
- 1/3 cup orange juice
- 2/3 cup packed brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1 1/4 tea. cinnamon
- 1/4 tea. cloves
- One crisp topping recipe
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Place apples and cranberries in 7x11 baking dish. Drizzle orange juice over fruit.
Combine brown sugar, 2 Tbsp. flour, cinnamon an cloves in small bowl. Pour over apple mixture; toss to coat.
Mix crisp topping and sprinkle over apples.
Bake 35 minutes or until topping is lightly browned and apples are tender. Cool slightly in pan on wire rack.
