Buttermilk Pie 2

Ingredients

  • 3 c. sugar
  • 6 T. flour
  • 1 1/2 c. buttermilk
  • 5 eggs
  • 1 c. butter, melted
  • 2 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

Heat oven to 425º. Mix sugar, flour & half the milk; add beaten eggs. Add rest of milk & fold in butter; add vanilla. Pour into an unbaked 9" deep dish pie shell. Bake for 10 minutes then turn oven down to 350º. Bake until knife inserted in center comes clean.
