Crispy Chicken With Creamy Orange Sauce

  • Garnish:
  • 1/2 cup AP flour
  • 1 large egg beaten
  • 1 cup panko bread crumbs
  • 6 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 1 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 3/4 tsp. fresh thyme leaves
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 3 tbsp. orange marmalade
  • fresh thyme sprigs, grated orange zest

Preparation

Step 1

In three separate shallow bowls, place flour, egg, an panko. Dredge each breast in flour, then egg, and bread crumbs.

In large skillet, heat oil over med-high heat. Add chicken, and cook until done. Remove from skillet and set aside. Wipe skillet clean. Add cream, thyme, and salt to pan. Bring to boil. Cook, stirring for 7 minutes or until thickened. Stir in marmalade. Serve over chicken. Add garnish if desired.
