Baked Beans II

Ingredients

  • 4 Cans (15oz) Northern Beans
  • 1 cup Brown Sugar (packed)
  • 1 med. Onion (chopped)
  • 1 cup ketchup (may substitute favorite BBQ sauce. I use 1/2 c ketchup 1/2c Baby Rays BBQ sauce)
  • 2 tblsp prepared mustard
  • 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 HALF cup honey
  • 1 tsp. Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp. Onion Powder
  • 4 slices Bacon (more to taste)
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp. Red Wine Vinegar

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat Oven to 350°

In a 9x9 in. Baking dish, combine beans, onion, ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, vinegar and season with salt and pepper to taste. Top with Bacon slices

Bake for no less than 1 hour. (I bake for about 3 to 4 hours until sauce is thick)
