Ingredients
- 1/2 cup lime juice
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes
- 5-6 tbsp olive oil
- steak strips
- carrots, shaved
- lettuce
- peanuts, chopped
Preparation
Step 1
Cut steak into strips.
Place marinade ingredients in a sealable plastic bag or small glass dish. Pour half the mixture into the bag with the meat. Seal tightly, and marinate meat in refrigerator at least 4 hours or overnight, turning occasionally. Reserve the rest of the mixture refrigerated, to dress the salad.
Once done marinating cook the steak strips in sauce to desired doneness.
Prepare lettuce and shaved carrot. Top with cooked steak. Dress the salad with remaining sauce and add chopped peanuts.
