Leeks

  • 3 leeks
  • 2 Tbs. butter
  • 3/4 c. water
  • salt and pepper

Preparation

Step 1

Halve leeks lengthwise (white and light green parts only) Separate layers and rinse well. In a large skillet, melt 2 Tbs. butter over med. Add leeks, water, and salt and pepper. Cover and cook on medium simmer until very tender, 14-16 mins. add more water if necessary.
