Boiled Cookies

Ingredients

• 2 C. sugar
• 1/2 C. milk
• 1/4 lb. butter
• 4 Tbsp. Cocoa
• 2 1/2 C. oats
• 1/4 C. chopped nuts or raisins
• 2 tsps. vanilla
• 1/2 C. peanut butter

Preparation

Step 1

Combine 1st 4 ingredients inside a pot. bring to a rolling boil. Boil for 1 1/2 mins. Take off stove. Add remaining ingreients. Blend well

Pace inside a greased,square pan. Cover with wax paper or foil. Allow to cool. Take out refrigerator, and cut into squares.

Or: After blending all ingredients, place a long sheet of wax paper on counter top. With a spoon, drop mixture by spoon fuls onto wax paper (mixture will spread some.). Allow cookies to cool and harden. Pop cookies off wax paper and place in cookie tin.
