Ingredients
- 6-7 beets, shredded
- 4 carrots, shredded
- 1 large onion, shredded
- 4 1/2 cups or two-10 1/2 ounce cans chicken (or beef) broth plus one soup can water
- 2 tablespoon butter
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tsp of Tabasco
- 2 tsp of Worshtershire
- 1/2 tsp of garlic
- Tablespoon of Sour cream on top when serving
Preparation
Step 1
1.) Cook shredded beets, carrots and chopped onions and garlic in 2 2/3 cups of boiling water for 20 minutes.
2.) Add brown stock, Tabasco, Worshtershire and butter
3.) Cook uncovered for 15 minutes
4.) Stir in lemon juice
5.) Serve with sour cream
