Ingredients
- 3/4 c. butter, softened
- 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
- 2 c. sugar
- 2 eggs
- 3 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 c. mashed bananas
- 1 c. coarsely chopped pecans, toasted
- 1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation
Step 1
Heat oven to 350º. Grease & flour 2 loaf pans; set aside. Beat butter & cream cheese til creamy. Gradually add sugar; beating til light & fluffy. Add eggs one at a time; beating well after each. Combine dry ingredients; gradually add to creamed mixture. Stir in bananas, pecans & vanilla. Spoon evenly into prepared pans. Bake for 1 hour or til tests done. May have to shield bread with aluminum foil last 15 minutes to prevent over browning. Cool in pans 10 minutes; then remove from pans to cool completely.
