Pesto Sauce

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons pine nuts
  • 2 cups basil
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 4 tablespoons parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3 ounces nonfat chicken broth (3 to 7)

Preparation

Step 1

1. Combine first 7 ingredients in a food processor. Pulse until chopped.

2. Add in broth until desired consistency. Pour into ice cube tray. Freeze. Makes 10 pesto cubes.
