Yiddish (Worm) Cookies

Ingredients

  • Cream Together:
  • 1/2 lb. Butter or Oleo
  • 1/4 Cup Powdered Sugar
  • Then add:
  • 2 Tbs. Vanilla
  • 2 1/2 Cups Flour
  • 1 Cup finely chopped Pecans

Preparation

Step 1

Mix well, roll in palm, size of a walnut, press down with fork. Bake on un-greased cookie sheet in a slow oven – 325 degrees. Do not let them brown, while still warm – roll in powdered sugar.

NOTE: It is best not to make more than one batch at a time – as they won’t be too good.

Makes about 50 cookies.
