Ingredients
- 1-1/2 lbs. Granny Smith apples, cored and cut into wedges
- 1-1/2 T. sugar
- 1/4 t. cinnamon
- 1/4 t. nutmeg
- 1/4 c. bacon drippings or butter
Preparation
Step 1
In a bowl, toss apples with sugar and spices. Heat drippings or butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add apples to skillet. Cook until tender and golden, turning to cook on all sides, about 10 minutes. Serve warm.
Makes 6 servings.
