Ingredients
- 1/2 lb. sweet Italian pork sausage, casings removed
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1/2 tea. garlic powder or 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups Prego Traditional Italian Sauce or Tomato, Basil & Garlic Italian Sauce
- 1 3/4 cups chicken broth
- 1 can black beans or pinto beans
- 1 can white kidney beans (cannellini), drained
- 1 can red kidney beans, drained
Preparation
Step 1
Cook the sausage, onion and garlic powder in saucepan over medium-high heat until sausage is browned, stirring to separate the meat. Pour off any fat.
Add Italian sauce and broth and heat to a boil. Reduce the heat to low and cook for 10 minutes. Add the beans and heat through.
