Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 pounds beef flank steak, trimmed
  • 2 tablespoons low sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven broiler. Brush soy sauce over both sides of steak and sprinkle evenly with Italian seasoning and garlic powder. Broil steak 3 inches from heat source for 6 to 8 minutes per side or until meat has reached desired level of doneness. Slice steak across the grain (diagonally) into thin slices.

SERVING SUGGESTION: Add sliced tomatoes and whole grain rolls.
GLUTEN FREE: Make sure soy sauce and Italian seasoning are gluten free.
