Ingredients
- 2 lbs. ground beef
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 (12-14 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1 (10 oz.) can Rotel
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. black pepper
- 1 tsp. ground oregano
- 1 T. cumin
- 2 T. chili powder (or more to taste)
- 1 (14 oz.) can kidney beans, rinsed & drained
- 1 (14 oz.) can pinto beans, rinsed & drained
- 1/4 c. masa
- 1/2 c. warm water

Step 1
Brown beef with garlic & onion in a large pot over medium-high heat. Add tomato sauce, Rotel, salt, pepper, oregano, cumin & chili powder. Cover & reduce heat to low. Simmer for 30 minutes. Add drained & rinsed beans. Stir to combine, then cover & simmer another 20 minutes. Mix masa & water, then add to chili. Stir to combine & simmer for a final 10-15 minutes. Serve over fritos. Top with cheese, onions, pickled jalapenos & sour cream.
