Ingredients
- MARINADE:
- 1-11/2 lbs. chicken wings
- 1/2 tsp. Sesame oil
- 2 Tbs. Lemon juice
- 2 Tbs. Chinese cooking wine or Sherry
- 1/4 Cup Soy sauce
- 2 Tbs. Brown sugar or Honey
- 1/4 Cup Ketchup or Tomato sauce
- 2 Tbs. Hoisin sauce
- 2 Tbs. Oyster sauce
- 2 Tbs. Sambal Oelek or Chili garlic sauce
- 4 Cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 Tbs. Ginger, finely chopped or minced
- 1/2 tsp. Five Spice powder
- GARNICHES:
- Finely chopped Scallions
- Sesame seeds
Preparation
Step 1
1. Combine marinade ingredients in a large bowl or Ziplock bag.
2. Add wings to the marinade, leave aside for 10 min.
3. Preheat oven to 350F.
4. Line baking tray with Parchment paper
5. Shake off excess marinade(but reserve) and spread on the baking tray.
6. Baste generously once or twice, using all of the marinade on the second basting
7. Bake 40-50 min., until the meat comes off the bone and are starting to char and are sticky, dark red/golden color.
8. Sprinkle with optional garnishes and serve.
