Preheat oven to 350ºF (180ºC). Line mini muffin pans with paper liners.
Melt butter and chocolate in the top of a double boiler.
Beat, in a medium bowl, eggs and sugar until creamy. Fold in melted butter and chocolate. Add flour, cocoa and salt. Stir in chocolate chips.
Tip
Get your kids to use a wooden spoon or a whisk to mix all the ingredients together.
Spoon batter into prepared muffins cups.
Tip
How can your kids fill the muffin cups without a big mess? Have them use a mini ice cream scoop, which also helps to keep all the mini brownies around the same size.
Bake in preheated oven for 15 minutes or just until the tops are firm to the touch.
