Peanut Butter Crisscross Cookies

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 cup butter, at room temperature
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup light brown sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

1. Heat oven to 374.

2. Combine flour and baking soda in a small bowl.

3. Beat butter and peanut butter until creamy. Add sugars and beat until fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla. Gradually beat in flour just until blended.

4. Roll teaspoonfuls into ball and place 1 1/2 inchese apart on ungreased baking sheets. Flatten with a fork.

5. Bake 10-12 minutes or until browned. Cool on sheet 1 minute before removing to cooling racks to cool completely.
