Ingredients
- 2 tblsp plus 1-1/2 tsps paprika
- 1-1/2 lbs. boneless pork loin roast cut into 1 inch strips
- 1 tblsp canola oil
- 1 20 oz. can unsweetened pineapple chunks
- 1 medium chopped onion
- 1 medium chopped green pepper
- 1/4 cup of cider vinegar
- 3 tblsp brown sugar
- 3 tblsp soy sauce
- 1 tblsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 tblsp cornstarch
- 1/4 cup cold water
Preparation
Step 1
Paprika in large plastic bag. Add pork and shake.
Brown pork in oil in skillet - transfer to cooker
Drain pineapple reserving juice, refrigerate pineapple
Add pineapple juice, onion, green pepper, vinegar, brown sugar, soy sauce, worcestershire sauce, and salt -mix well and cover
Low 6-8 hrs.
Combine cornstarch and water. Stir into pork mixture. Add pineapple. Cover and cook 30 mins.
