Ingredients
- 1 cup oil
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup sugar
- 4 eggs
- 2 pears (peeled and cut into small chunks)
- 3 cups flour
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp. cloves
- 1 about 1 T. powdered sugar
Preparation
Step 1
1. Preheat oven to 325° F. Beat together the oil, sugar, and eggs. Then mix in the pears.
2. In a separate bowl combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, nutmeg, and cloves. With the mixer on low, slowly add in the flour mixture until fully combined.
3. Grease a 10-cup bundt pan and pour the batter in. Bake at 325° F for 50-60 minutes-until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few crumbs clinging. Let cool in the pan 10 minutes before turning out onto a cooling rack to cool completely. Dust with powdered sugar and serve.
