tbs - 1 whole onion (depends on how much you want)
roughly 2 cups pureed fresh or canned tomatoes
tbs sugar (if you didn't buy store bought tomato puree
In a 2 quart saucepan, saute finely diced onion in 2 tbs butter. Add 1-2 tbsp flour depending on how thick you like your soup. Combine 1 1/2 cups milk with roughly 2 cups pureed fresh or canned tomatoes. Heat in a microwavable container until hot. Add liquids to saute mixture. Add salt and pepper to taste. Only add sugar if you didn't buy canned tomato puree.
