Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups walnuts, ground in food processor
- 2/3 cup whole wheat pastry flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/3 cup flax seed meal
- 1/2 cup carob chips
- 1/2 cup plus 2 tablespoons maple syrup
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In small bowl, combine all ingredients (in the order listed).
Mix well.
Spray large cookie sheet or use parchment paper.
Drop dough on cookie sheet with spoon or cookie scoop.
Flatten with fork.
Bake for 10 to 15 minutes or until golden brown.
check often to prevent burning.
Let cool.
