Ingredients

  • 1 (4-5 lb.) brisket
  • 1 (10.5 oz) can beef broth
  • 1/4 c. soy sauce
  • juice of one lemon
  • 1 T. liquid smoke
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/4-1/2 c. red wine (can use grape juice)
  • French rolls

Preparation

Step 1

Mix broth, soy sauce, lemon juice, liquid smoke & garlic powder in slow cooker. Add brisket; cover & cook 6-8 hours on low. Remove brisket from cooker, slice & shred. Add wine or grape juice to liquid & return brisket. Heat 5 more minutes. Serve on roll; use liquid for dipping.
