- Ingredients:
- Slow Cooker Shrimp Creole Soup
- 1 1/2 cups diced celery
- 1 1/4 cup chopped onions
- 3/4 cup chopped green bell pepper
- 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
- 1 (28 ounce) can whole tomatoes
- 2 (14.5 ounce) cans chicken broth
- 2 -3 garlic cloves
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
- 1 tablespoon Old Bay seasoning
- 8 -16 drops Tobasco sauce
- 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
- 1/4 cup red wine (optional)
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 pound frozen cooked shrimp, tails removed
Preparation
Step 1
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients EXCEPT shrimp in greased 5-6 quart slow cooker
2. Cook on low 8 to 10 hours (or high 3 to 4 hours)
3. Increase heat to high and add cooked shrimp 5 minutes before serving
