Kringla/ Vick's/San's (The Best)

Ingredients

• Mix together:
• 1 Cup White Sugar
• 1 Egg
• 1 tsp Vanilla
• pinch of Salt
• Dissolve together and add to above mix:
• 1 Cup Buttermilk (can use powdered and water mix)
• 1 tsp Baking Soda
• Melt and add to above mixture:
• 1 Stick Butter and 1 T. Butter
• Add to above mixture:
• 2 tsp Baking Powder
• 3 1/2 Cups Flour
• Optional: Can add a little nutmeg if you would like. I don't.

Preparation

Step 1

Mix as directed above. Put in freezer for 5-10 mins. Roll out in pencil form. Make a fish design or a bow.
Bake at 350 degrees on a greased sheet for 10 mins/ top is just beginning to brown.
