PICKLED EGGS

Ingredients

  • 2 doz. boiled eggs, shelled
  • 4 c. white vinegar
  • 2 tbsp. mixed pickling spices
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 tsp. seasoned salt
  • 2 (1 oz.) bottles red food coloring

Preparation

Step 1

Place eggs in large (gallon) jar. Mix vinegar, spices, bay leaves, sugar and salt; bring just to a boil. Cool, mix in food color and pour over eggs. Refrigerate for at least 24 hours (48 is better).
