Chinese Drumsticks

Ingredients

  • 30 upper wing portions
  • 2 tablespoons lite soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons dry sherry
  • 2 teaspoons fresh grated ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon sugar
  • 2 teaspoons chinese five spice powder
  • 4 tablespoons cornstarch

Preparation

Step 1

With a sharp paring knife cut around bone at small end of upper wing portions. Cut thru skin and muscle and pull the meat and skin down the bone toward the larger end. Mix all ingredients together and marinate the wings for 15 minutes. Deep fry in 375 degrees peanut oil until golden brown and tender. Serve immediately.
