French Vanilla Ice Cream

Ingredients

  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 cups cream
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

Beat eggs and milk together in a large saucepan. Add sugar. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly until thickened (approximately 10 minutes) Mixture should smoothly coat the spoon. Cool, then add cream and vanilla. Refrigerate and freeze as directed in your ice cream maker.
