Ingredients
- 1 leg red onion
- 1 C apple cider vinegar
- 1/2 C red wine vinegar
- 1/4 C sugar
- 1 t kosher salt
- 1/8 t ground allspice
- pinch of red pepper flakes
Preparation
Step 1
slice onion into half moon 1/8” thick
in saucepan bring vinegars, sugar and salt to a boil, remove from heat.
whisk until sugar dissolves, whisk in allspice and pepper flakes
add onions and stir. let cool completely, store in fridge for up to a month.
