Cheddar Cheese and Bacon Dog Biscuits

Ingredients

  • 2 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon beef bullion
  • 2/3 cup hot water
  • 1/2 bacon (crumbled or bacon bits)
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese (shredded)

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Mix water and bullion.
Let cool.
When cooled, beat in egg.
Add bacon bits and cheddar cheese to liquid mixture.
Add flour.
Mix with mixer.
Dough should be moist.
Roll out to 1/2 inch thickness.
Cut into shapes.
Place biscuits on lightly greased cookie sheet.
Bake for 15 minutes then turn biscuits over.
Bake for another 15 minutes.
Remove from oven and allow to cool completely.
Biscuits will harden as they cool.
