Creamy roasted japaleno Dip 0 Picture

  • 3 Japaleno Peppers Fresh
  • 2 Cups Whole Buttermilk
  • 2 Cups Mayonaise
  • 1/4 Cup Fresh Cilantro
  • 8 oz Greene chiles canned
  • 1.5 oz Ranch Powder
  • 2 Tsp Salt
  • 1 Tbsp Garlic chopped

Step 1

Start out by baking or fire roasting the Japalenos, if you have a gas stove just roast on the burners, electric then set under the broiler for 2 minutes and turn over and repeat. Cut off stems after roasting. If you like spicier add more Japalenos to taste after initial roast.
Combine garlic, salt, buttermilk, ranch powder, mayonaise, cilantro, green chiles, and whole roasted Japalenos without stem into a blender, blend until smooth.
Refrigerate to solidify for easier dipping.
