Ingredients
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 cup butter softened
- 1 egg
- 2 1/4 cups all- purpose flour or whole wheat
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup chopped nuts
- 1 pkg. (12 oz.) semisweet chocolate chips

Preparation
Step 1
Heat oven to 375 degrees
Mix sugars, margarine, and egg in large bowl. Stir in flour , baking soda and salt. (Dough will be stiff). Stir in nuts and chocolate chips
Drop dough by rounded tablespoons onto ungreased cookie sheet
Bake 8-10 minutes or until light brown. Cool slightly; remove from cookie sheet
