Breads: Moy House Treacle and Walnut Bread

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Wholemeal Flour
  • 2 oz Porridge Oats
  • 2 oz Muesli
  • 2 t Brown Sugar
  • 2 oz Chopped Walnuts
  • 1 t Oil
  • 1 t Treacle
  • 1 t Bread Soda
  • 1 t Salt
  • 1 Egg
  • 1/2 lt Buttermilk
  • Seeds for topping

Preparation

Step 1

Method

Mix all dry ingredients together
Add Oil
Beat egg and mix with buttermilk and warm treacle
Add to dry mix
Place in a greased loaf tin and bake in a moderate oven
180 degrees for approximately 40 minutes
