Derby Pie

Great for Derby Day!

Ingredients

• 1/2 c melted butter
• 1/2 c flour
• 1 c sugar
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 2 beaten eggs
• 1 c milk chocolate chips
• 1 c. walnuts or pecans
• 2 TBS Kentucky Bourbon (Optional)
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 1 - pie crust (can use pre-made for 9" shell)

Preparation

Step 1

Mix butter and sugar
Add eggs and Vanilla
Add salt and Flour
Fold in nuts and chocolate chips
Pour into 9" pie crust

Bake at 350 degrees for 50 min. Let cool 1-2 hours before serving
