  • 6 medium apples (Braeburn, Rome, Fuji), peeled, cut into small pieces
  • 1 (12-oz.) bag fresh cranberries
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons apple juice or other fruit juice

Step 1

Place apples and cranberries in food processor, in batches if necessary; pulse several times to chop. Add sugar and juice; process until pureed. Refrigerate 3 hours before serving. (Applesauce can be made up to 1 month ahead and frozen. Thaw in refrigerator before using.)
