Crockpot Meatball Vegetable Soup

Ingredients

  • 4 cups frozen mixed vegetables
  • 1 small onion, dices (about 1 cup)
  • 24 ounce jar pasta sauce
  • 4 teaspoons beef bullion granules
  • 4 cups water (not needed until the day of cooking)
  • (Beef or chicken broth can replace beef bullion granules and water - add it the day of cooking)
  • 1 pound frozen meatballs
  • 1 gallon sized plastic freezer bag

Preparation

Step 1

Label freezer bag.
Add all ingredients except broth to bag.
Remove as much air out of bag as possible, seal and lay flat in freezer.

Night before cooking move frozen bag to refrigerator to thaw.

The morning of cooking, pour contents of bag into crockpot and add broth.

Cook on low setting for 8 hours or until vegetables are tender.
