Butter Cookies

Ingredients

• Separate bowl:
• 1 lb. softened butter
• 2 tbls. milk
• 1 1/2 cups sugar
• 2 egg yokes
• 1 tsp. vanilla
• 4 cups flour
• 1 tsp. baking powder
• 2 tsp. salt

Preparation

Step 1

Mix butter, milk and sugar - add egg yokes and vanilla. Gradually add the dry ingredients until a soft dough forms (if it is sticky to hold, add a little more flour)

Put dough into cookie gun and sprinkle with jimmies, etc.

Bake on 350.
