Royal Icing 2

Ingredients

  • 3 egg whites
  • 1/2 tsp cream of tartar
  • 1 lb powdered sugar

Preparation

Step 1

Using a mixer with the whisk attachment, beat egg whites and cream of tartar in a bowl on high until foamy. Reduce speed to low and gradually add the powdered sugar, beating until just incorporated. Increase speed to high and beat until stiff glossy peaks form. Transfer to pastry bag for decorating.

Dye desired color too!
