Ingredients
- Cantaloupe, honey-dew or melon in season
- 1 large ripe avocado
- 1 large orange
- 1 cup strawberries, cherries or fruit in season
- 1 cup sour cream
- Lettuce
Preparation
Step 1
Cut melon crosswise in rings 1 to 2 inches thick.
Peel and remove seeds.
Arrange on lettuce.
Peel avocado and orange.
Wash and hull other fruits and cut into small pieces.
Mix well and drain off excess juices.
Add 3/4 cup sour cream to fruits and fold gently.
Fill centers of melon rings with fruit mixture.
Top with remaining sour cream.
