Autumn by the Glass

Ingredients

  • 4 c pear nectar (found in juice aisle of grocery store)
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 6 whole cloves
  • An inch of fresh ginger, thinly sliced
  • 1 shot of pear brandy

Preparation

Step 1

In a saucepan, combine 4 c pear nectar, 2 cinnamon sticks, 6 whole cloves, and an inch of fresh ginger. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat, and let steep 15 minutes.

Strain and serve hot, garnished with cinnamon stick and a thin slice of pear.

For spiked cider, add a shot of pear brandy.

Store in refrigerator for up to a week, reheat to serve.
