Sesame Seared Salmon

Ingredients

  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 3/4 lb salmon filets
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1/2 tbsp chopped fresh ginger or 1/4 tsp ground ginger
  • 2 tsp soy sauce
  • 1/2 tbsp sesame seeds

Preparation

Step 1

Heat olive oil in a non-stick skillet over medium high heat. Add salmon and saute 5 minutes. Meanwhile mix honey, ginger, and soy sauce together. Set aside. Turn salmon and saute 3 minutes for a 1" thick piece of salmon. Remove skillet from heat, spoon sauce over salmon and let warm in skillet for about 30 seconds. Remove to dishes and sprinkle sesame seeds.
