Ingredients
- 1 5 pound french roast
- 2 onions, sliced into rings
- 2 tomatoes, sliced into rings
- 1 1/2 cups duck sauce
- 1 1/2 cups dry red wine
- 1 tbsp. onion powder
- 2 tsp. garlic powder
- 2 tsp. paprika

Preparation
Step 1
1. Place the onions and tomatoes on bottom of a roasting pan. Place roast on top, covering with duck sauce, wine, and spices.Cover and refrigerate overnight.
2. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Bring roast to room temperature then bake covered for 3 hours and 15 minutes. Slice thinly across grain when cool.
