Chocolate Chip Coffee Cake

Ingredients

• 2 c flour
• 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
• 1 tsp baking soda
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 1 1/4 c sugar
• 1 tsp cinnamon
• 1 stick butter-room temp
• 2 large eggs - room temp
• 1 c sour cream
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 1 cup chocolate chips

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 and grease 8 inch pan.mix flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. In a separate bowl combine 1/4 c sugar and cinnamon.

Beat together butter and remaining sugar until fluffy (about 5 minutes). Beat in eggs, one at a time then beat in sour cream and vanilla. Fold in the flour mixture in 2 parts, until just combined. Pour 1/2 batter into cake pan and sprinkle with 1/2 cinnamon and sugar and half chocolate chips. repeat for remaining ingredients.

Bake until golden and a toothpick comes out clean....30-35 minutes.
